Hello from the Keating PAC!
We have received some helpful resources pertaining to Social and Emotional well-being coming up in February that we would like to share with the Keating community. These are two Zoom sessions put on by FamilySmart. See below for links to more information and to register.
These events are free, and because they are delivered through Zoom, they are often an accessible first resource when families are looking to increase their knowledge base.

Hi Keating Peeps!
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on May 16th. The full agenda will be posted soon but in the meantime we wanted to flag two agenda items, both related to our Keating Cares Committee:
1. We will be voting on adopting a new Policy to guide the Keating Cares Committee. You can view the draft policy here, and share your (anonymous) feedback on it here
2. We are proposing to add the Keating Cares Committee to our Bylaws as a standing committee (i.e., one that gets struck every year), which would involve the addition of the following text to the Bylaws document:
22. COMMITTEES
…
22.5. The Keating Cares Committee
a. A committee will be struck at the start of each school year to run the Keating Cares program (see Keating Cares Policy for details).
b. The Keating Cares Committee will:
I. manage and administer the Keating Cares Program, including all Keating Cares-related finances;
II. present reports to the PAC at all General Meetings on Committee activities and finances;
III. comprise three KPAC members, namely:
III.i. The PAC President or Vice President, who will chair the committee;
III.ii. The PAC Treasurer;
III.iii. A member of the Hot Lunches Committee, if such a committee exists or, if not, another member of the Keating PAC Executive.
Thanks! Hope to see you at the AGM!
