General Discussion
Hello!
I am adding here some programs and info that our local COPACS has sent to us, of potential interest to parents.
(1) The BC Schizophrenia Society is offering a free 2 day program called Teens In Control. This workshop is for youth ages 13 – 18 years old who have a family member or friend with a mental illness or substance use disorder. Each session gives youth the opportunity to connect with peers who share similar experiences while learning about mental illness, self-care techniques, and skills for communicating with a loved one with mental illness.
